Lankan held at Indian airport
HYDERABAD: A Sri Lankan national was arrested by the Hyderabad police at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad on Sunday for allegedly travelling with a fake passport.
Ranjith Kumar (22), from Jaffna, completed his diploma in engineering at Chennai.
On Sunday morning, he was trying to board a Lufthansa flight to Malaysia when officials checked his passport and found it was tampered and detained him.
He was leaving for Malaysia to search for a job. (The Hindu)
