Badran tapped as Asia Pacific Human Rights Institutions Forum head

AMMAN (Petra) -The 14th conference of Asia Pacific Forum of National Human Rights Institutions (APF) this week elected Adnan Badran, the chairman of the National Centre for Human Rights, as the forum’s president. The forum’s conference, which will conclude its activities today, also agreed to accept the human rights centres in Qatar and Palestine as full-fledged members. Meanwhile, an APF delegation will visit the occupied Palestinian territories on Saturday to look at activities of the human rights centre in Palestine.
